Celebrating the UAE’s Golden Jubilee, the Grenadier marks its first major public appearance featuring a unique exterior design created specially for the Year of the 50th & #NoFilterDXB. The #NoFilterDXB, tagged as the Dubai Motor Show Redefined, exhibited from 24th – 27th November at the newly opened Dubai Harbour.
The all-new Grenadier is a 4X4 built on purpose, with production for key global markets, including the Middle East, scheduled to begin in July 2022. The vehicle has been developed in partnership with engineering experts Magna, to fulfil INEOS Automotive’s vision to create the ultimate off-roader.
The Grenadier features an award-winning 3.0-litre turbo straight-six petrol engine from BMW with 281hp and maximum torque of 450Nm; a specifically strengthened 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF; heavy-duty axles by Carraro; and bespoke tyres from Bridgestone. Put together with class-leading approach, ramp and departure angles, permanent four-wheel drive, two-speed transfer case and up to three locking differentials, the Grenadier provides the highest levels of off-road capability.
With an all-new rigid full box-sectioned ladder chassis and solid beam axles, the Grenadier is very durable. Heavy duty coil suspension, high-strength frame and body, plus the incorporation of the latest safety standards and features means this is a vehicle designed to endure.
There will be a wide range of accessories that allow customers to specify their Grenadier to meet their needs. This includes winches, side runners, interior and exterior utility rails, and even a 2,000W power take-off to power electric tools via domestic sockets.
In the Middle East, INEOS Automotive has an agreement in place with its first retail partner, Adamas Motors, to operate dealerships in the UAE and Bahrain. Pricing in the Middle East is yet to be confirmed.
